5. Thai White Glutinous Rice
can be used for both main course and dessert, especially for local cuisine. It is also perfect as the famous sweet sticky rice or Khao Niew Moon, eaten with seasonal fruits.

Mango with Sweet Sticky Rice (Khao Niew Ma Muang)
Sweet Sticky Rice
- 1 1/2 kg Dok Bua Brand Thai White Glutinous Rice
- 3 tablespoons salt
- 1 kg coconut (3 cups coconut milk)
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon jasmine flavor

Concentrated Coconut Milk
- 3 cups coconut milk
- 1/4 cup rice flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon jasmine flavor

  1. Soak Dok Bua Brand Thai White Glutinous Rice for at least 8 hours then drain. Place white cloth in the top part of the steamer. Put the rice in and steam for approximately 30 minutes until the rice is done.
  2. Mix coconut milk, salt, sugar and jasmine flavor and boil, then leave to cool.
  3. Mix the cooked Dok Bua Brand Thai White Glutinous Rice with the coconut milk mixture. Leave to cool. Serve with toppings. Ripe mago is highly recommended. Garnish with concentrated coconut milk and the scrumptious dessert is ready to serve.
